Philip Steel – Joining Emotional Escapes
We were introduced to Emotional Escapes earlier this year and loved the beauty of the photographs and the enticing descriptions of the luxury holiday rentals in Provence.
We are a family of five looking for fresh challenges and opportunities. Instead of the sterile sites currently on offer we knew that using the Emotional Escapes website and principles of customer care we could show luxury London properties with style, character and in a unique way currently not available on the market.
The Just London team is made up for a family of five and joined Emotional Escapes just short of six months ago. We all have great enthusiasm for this enterprise and different roles to play. Even the two year old helps out when she can with the property descriptions on the website, although her grammar needs some improvement.
When we began, the first property we visited was an apartment in Knightsbridge overlooking Hyde Park. On a sunny morning we were met by the charming owner who showed us around the wonderful property. The property itself was in a very old traditional English building, a throwback to classic Britain (think Downtown Abbey). Afterwards we took a walk with our camera around Hyde Park to get some shots in the sunshine and had a little spot of lunch at The Serpentine.

We love London, from the historic grand state buildings to the little nooks and crannies with strange stories to tell. “When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life” said the famous English writer Samuel Johnson and that is how we feel. This year alone we have revisited the Science Museum and the Victoria & Albert, drank cocktails in the Shard, climbed over the 02 Arena, enjoyed our seasonal visits to Kew Garden, explored Kensington Roof Gardens and that’s without mentioning some of the tremendous shows, coffee shops and restaurants we have experienced.
Every visitor will find something to love whether it is the museums, historical sites, shopping, or simply sitting back and watching the world go by.
A trip to London can be amazing, so the family take great pride in offering luxurious, boutique and quality rentals to our clientele- offering a truly Emotional Escape.
