The Mas des Lumières is a large and lovely farmhouse in the countryside just 3.5 km outside St Rémy de Provence, walking distance to town. It has rooms for 18 guests.
The garden is spacious, very well planted, and totally seductive. The 12 x 6m salt water heated pool (heated May to September) is fenced, and located close to the house. There are several areas with chairs and tables where guests can settle and relax.
There is a kitchen with a large dining area opening out onto a covered exterior near to the pool. There is also an interior seating area. Mas des Lumières is an ideal holiday vacation destination for large groups looking to come together to enjoy the best Provence has to offer.

The mas has 9 en-suite bedrooms, each with a king-size canopy style 4 poster bed; three of the beds can be made into twins. There are 1-2 suites, depending on clients’ wishes. The bedrooms are all air-conditioned.
Four of the bedrooms (all en-suite) are located on the ground floor. There is a large suite on the first floor with sitting room (and sofa bed), a bedroom, two bathrooms and 2 WC's. Also on the first floor are two more king-size en-suite bedrooms that can be used separately, or with the communicating doors opened, can be used as a second suite.

St-Rémy-de-Provence is perhaps the most beautiful small town in Provence. Post World War II, it was an agricultural area, specialising in flower seeds and sheep, but now is known as a sophisticated country town with some of the best local commerce Provence has to offer, and with a wonderful, central location.
There are many sites in St Rémy: the very important Roman ruins at Glanum; the rue Hoche, a tiny street where French-Jewish doctor and astronomer Nostradamus was born in 1503. Don’t forget the colourful Wednesday market which is well known all over Provence. Vincent van Gogh spent most of the last year of his life here, at the St.Paul de Maussole Clinic, and painted over 150 paintings.
