On the main floor, adjacent to the main living room, is this beautiful suite, worthy of a luxury hotel. Enjoying private access to the front terrace through its own French windows, this room features a 180 cm bed (or 2 single beds), integrated air conditioning and speakers, as well as a flatscreen TV with a satellite receiver. Down the corridor to the right is its own large dressing room, as well as its bathroom and separate toilet.
The vast living room is the heart of the house, with its light tones and large mezzanine. Three large French windows lead out onto the front patio. There is an integrated sound system and, of course, high speed internet access throughout the whole area.
The surroundings are quite simply outstanding at Château d'Eygalieres. Nestled in the midst of pine, oak and cypress trees, hills and forests abound all around. The house visible in the background here can only be seen if you climb to the top of one of these hills.
The last bedroom is located just across the corridor from the previous one, and is designed to sleep two adults in the two 90 cm beds to the left - which can also be pushed together to make a 180 cm bed - or up to four children or teens in all four single beds. Just in case the vast amounts of storage space around the house don't suffice, this bedroom also has a special compartment for storing luggage and suitcases during your stay.
The grounds are spread over 6 hectares and are left wild (great if you have kids who love exploring!) except for the area immediately around the house which is made up of gravel courtyards, shrubberies and beautiful lawns.
The château is about 8 km (5 miles) from Eygalières, a 10 minute drive.
The 12 m x 6 m pool is located just a stone's throw away from the house, in a very private and natural setting.
The rigid cover will grant you peace of mind when children are roaming around the grounds.
To the opposite end of the top-floor mezzanine is this bedroom, with a 180 cm bed (2 x 90 cm) as well as an extra single bed for use if needed. It features integrated air conditioning, integrated speakers, a flatscreen TV with satellite reception, and a separate dressing room.
This is the 'small' bedroom, located on the ground floor, with its 140 cm bed. It has ample storage space and its bathroom is ensuite, with an Italian shower and one washbasin, but just across the landing outside the room is a dressing room with extra wardrobes and a separate toilet.
Château d'Eygalières (formerly Chateau d'Orgon) is a large and luxurious Provencal vacation rental property with a large swimming pool, tennis court and air conditioning in the main bedrooms. Beautifully decorated in a bright and stylish traditional Provençal fashion, within a 5 minute drive of the delightful and popular village of Eygalières.
The recently refurbished property is set in 6 hectares of private woodlands in the heart of the Alpilles National Park, with luscious lawns and a large pool right next to the house. There are some fabulous hikes and bike rides to be enjoyed in the surrounding area, with the stunning Alpilles mountains and the exceptional towns of Saint Rémy and Les-Baux-de-Provence just a few miles down the road. The historic cities of Avignon and Aix-en-Provence are both within half an hour's drive.
With 4 large and luxurious bedrooms, each featuring a 180 cm bed that can be separated into two singles, an integrated sound system, vast amounts of wardrobe space and their own fully-equipped bathroom, 8 guests will sleep in high luxury at Château d'Eygalières. One of these bedrooms has an extra single bed for parents to be able to sleep with a young child in the same room. There are also two other high-standard ensuite bedrooms: one double bedroom, somewhat smaller than the others and lacking their high-end amenities, and another, with 4 single beds - an ideal dorm for kids or teens - bringing the total number of guests here to 15.
