The Villa Estrine is a beautiful village town home right in the center of St Remy de Provence; part dates from the 14th century but the entire home has been entirely renovated. There are ceramic tile floors, exposed beams, stone walls, a new kitchen and a terrace with superb views over St Remy.
The ground floor (1st floor in the US) has a sitting room; the bedroom and large bath are on the first floor (2nd in US.) The kitchen and family room are on the third floor, and the terrace and sun room are on the 4th floor.
The home is located right in the historic center of town in St. Rémy de Provence. This is a superb location for the home since centre-ville is pedestrian-friendly, and the town is well-known for its shops, cafés and restaurants. Any time is a perfect time for a stroll around the village. No need to drive into town...everything is just around the corner.

St Remy de Provence, Provence, south of France
St-Rémy-de-Provence is perhaps the most beautiful small town in Provence. Post World War II, it was an agricultural area, specialising in flower seeds and sheep, but now is known as a sophisticated country town with some of the best local commerce Provence has to offer, and with a wonderful, central location.
There are many sites in St Rémy: the very important Roman ruins at Glanum; the rue Hoche, a tiny street where French-Jewish doctor and astronomer Nostradamus was born in 1503. Don’t forget the colourful Wednesday market which is well known all over Provence. Vincent van Gogh spent most of the last year of his life here, at the St.Paul de Maussole Clinic, and painted over 150 paintings.
