Close GalleryThe garden and pool area at Valensole is a work in progress. Everything is in place, of course, but the owners continue to develop the structure and add to the planting. Emotional Escapes will return next spring to take new photographs, and we are sure we will find a more mature, softer environment.

The open plan ensuite bathroom area has a free standing contemporary bath, wetroom with walk-in Italian shower, double vanity unit, bidet and wc.

There are two wooden dining tables with modern outdoor dining chairs seating 14 diners. Just to the side of this dining terrace is a guest cloakroom with wc and sink.

Close GalleryThe internal courtyard at the heart of the mas is a great place to find a shady spot and unwind. At the end of the courtyard on the left is the communal kitchen and dining area. The building on the right is under interior renovation and will not be part of the rental property until Autumn 2014, although no work will be carried out throughout the rental period the price has been adjusted to reflect that work is in progress.

This photograph was taken in 2013 when the grounds were recently planted. Since then the lawn around the pool has established itself and the lavender has matured.

The views are of the well kept lawn within the walled gardens and the internal courtyard with its mature trees and water fountain, a gate at the end of the terrace leads to the pool area.
