The mas, built in the 17th century, has an authentic, rustic feel about it. The large gravel courtyard, with mottled shade from its traditional 'platanes' (plane trees), separates the house from the pool.
The master bedroom features a 160 cm double bed, air-conditioning and direct access to a large private terrace with stunning views south over the gardens, pool and lake. It also has a large mezzanine with two 120 cm beds (that are admittedly quite old and aren't intended for sleeping in, but would be great for a siesta!) and lots of space for storing suitcases.
The second bedroom also has a 160 cm bed and air conditioning, as well as its own small private terrace that overlooks the west terrace. Extra features include a flatscreen TV with a satellite receiver and a safe for keeping your valuables.
On the other side of the house, above the kitchen and completely separate and independent from the other rooms, there are two bedrooms that share a bathroom. The first one has a 180 cm double bed and great views south over the pool and gardens. Both of these bedrooms are air-conditioned.
Back in the other side of the house, there is once again a configuration of two bedrooms that share a bathroom. This bedroom--also air-conditioned-- features a 140 cm bed, which is considered small for a double bed by American standards, but just fine by European standards.
