The Jasmin has really taken hold, smothering the pergola outside the dining area. The previous owners spent several years painstakingly manicuring the garden that surrounds the villa. This is set-off by the wonderful views you enjoy from the garden and pool area.
The pool has steps on one side to facilitate entry to the water or to just relax on and enjoy! As well as comfy deck chairs there's a wonderful hammock for lounging about in. By May 2017 the owner will have added a jacuzzi and outdoor shower.
The area between the pool and the villa is laid to lush lawn which is perfect for the younger ones. The pool has a rigid cover which can be deployed for their safety when adults are not present, and also acts to maintain the water temperature over night and during windy conditions.
This photograph shows just how close the villa is to the village centre. When we say a 5 minute stroll, we mean it. The Tuesday morning market is held right next to the church, so fresh Provençal produce is literally just around the corner.
The communal area is open plan and very spacious. There are two french windows leading out into the garden and pool area. The fire-place functions perfectly to complement the central heating, so low season rentals are are also an attractive proposition at this delightful villa.
So, who gets the first floor double, en-suite bedroom with the private terrace? As well as looking out over the garden and pool, this is the view to the north-east. The majestic Mont Ventoux, world famous for its Tour de France stage, with the chic village of Crillon-le-Brave sitting proudly in its foot hills. All this and a lot, lot more await you when you pass your summer holidays in the wonderful Provence.
