The 11 x 5 m pool is the place to be when the hot Provençal sun starts beating down. Although in a residential area of Beaumes-de-Venise,
the house is set in its own wonderful 2,6 hectares of scented, terraced olive groves.
For 2017 a heat pump will be added to heat the pool in April, May, September and October--months when the sun is not sufficient to heat the water.
The dining room can comfortably seat 7 people. The reversible air conditioning ensures guests can stay in comfort at Villa Bijou all year round,
while the pellet stove in the far corner adds a warm touch to all out-of-season bookings.
The living room features a flatscreen TV with a satellite receiver and a DVD player, and of course the whole house benefits from the WiFi connection. There is also a portable high-quality 2.1 speaker system with a jack connector that can be used throughout the house or by the pool.

Mont Ventoux, Beaumes-de-Venise
The old houses and narrow streets of the medieval village rise up to the reddish sandstone cliffs with their many caves. Life in the village centers around an open central area with squares, weathered stone fountains, shops, outdoor terrace cafés, with plenty of shade from the plane trees.
