Domaine de la Sérénité harks back to a romantic era, it is a vacation rental with heaps of space for every generation to relax and enjoy a well earned break. Little has changed within the property and it is a tad out of step and behind the times; a grand dame enjoying the memories, but it has the warmth of a French country family house, the worn wooden furniture and ancient tiles throughout the Domaine add a certain charm.

The traditional cool stone of the walls, the interior packed with antiquated artefacts, artwork and bookcases full of classical French literature give you a real sense of history – the original part of the building dates back to the 10th Century,

The interior is dated, and not of the standard you perhaps would expect to find given the beauty of the building and its surroundings, however you are renting a slice of authentic Provençal ancestral living. This is a holiday home where many generations of a family have happily co-existed for centuries, and it has retained a lot of its original features and character.

It benefits from a very private, rural location, however, being off the beaten track means the approach is unsuitable for low suspension vehicles.
