Close GalleryThe harp-shaped pool is close to the house. Lounge in the sun or find a shady spot. Between the pool and the house is a lovely outdoor dining area, with umbrellas for daytime meals or drinks. The pool will be heated (starting in 2017) in the mid-season months of April, May, June, September and October.
If you want to get out of the sun for a while the villa also has a "foosball" table for adults and another for children. -
Close GalleryThere is a Weber gas grill to the left of the dining table. The living room and kitchen are through the open door. The ground floor of the home has all the public rooms.
More possibilities for swimming include nearby lakes at Cadenet and Perolle, and of course the Mediterranean, only one hour away. Wakeboards can be rented at Perolle so that enthusiasts can enjoy water sports even more.
The town of Lourmarin and the Luberon offer additional activities for sports enthusiasts; tennis, horseback riding and tennis, cycling, electric bikes in town, plus a European center for Alpinisme (mountaineering) in nearby Buoux. -
Close GalleryThe table is set for a relaxing meal on the terrace; the lovely, traditional bistro chairs are rattan and very comfortable. The table seats 8 people easily. You could spend the entire day in the outdoor area if you chose to. -
Close GalleryYou can see that the forest provides a lot of privacy and shade to the property. The "Monts de Durance" are in the distance. You can walk to town, but there is a steep hill to climb to return home.
Lourmarin is a very popular and beautiful village in the Luberon with lots to do: markets, wine tasting, many historical sites and châteaux, sightseeing, hiking, excellent bistros and restaurants. In July and August there are important music festivals in Lourmarin and nearby Roque d'Antheron. -

Close GalleryThe living room is centered on the fireplace, with comfortable leather chairs on one side, and a TV and Louis XVI armchairs on the other side. The HSINGHAI piano is tuned, and proves to be a great success if one of the group knows how to play. Out the glass doors to the left is the outdoor dining table. Behind the living room on the right, and with a pass-through window, is the kitchen. The mezzanine bedroom looks down onto the living room.
The fireplace functions, and wood is furnished, making this a perfect spot for cool spring/fall evenings or winter all day long. -

Close GalleryThe kitchen has a 4 burner conduction cooktop and oven; a microwave, and a combo brewed coffee and expresso machine. Right above the counter on the left is a pass-through window to the living room, where you can more easily serve drinks and hors d'oeuvres, or a simple dinner. -

Close GalleryOn the first floor you find the largest of the bedrooms, with lots of space. Double and single doors plus a window let in lots of light, really adding to the feeling of summer. The king size bed is 180 cm. There is also a small child's bed available. -
Close GalleryThis is the bathroom for the en-suite bedroom, just above. It is quite roomy, and has a double sink, and a tub with a shower head that you can attach to the wall. The large window lets in lots of light and air. -
Close GalleryThis is the mezzanine bedroom. On the right you can see the wooden railing that looks over the living room; on the left are the 4 steps leading to this en-suite bedroom. The king size (180 cm) bed is actually two twin beds, which are joined, so this a great place for a couple or singles. This area would be a wonderful private spot for teenagers to hang out when they are not at the pool. -
