The Belle du Ventoux is a very pretty and brand new Provencal rental villa located in the Ventoux region and very close to many of the well known Southern Rhône wine villages. The villa is on two floors, with the kitchen and living areas plus master bedroom on the ground floor, and two bedrooms and a bath on the first floor. The villa is well equipped with everything you need.The bedrooms even have A/C.
From the living room, you go walk directly outside through the huge glass panelled doors to the pool; you also get stunning views of Mont Ventoux.
Pets are not allowed.

Nearby Carpentras is the second main town in the Vaucluse department, after Avignon. It has the oldest active Jewish synagogue in France, built originally in the 13th century. This region is known for is black truffles and the Friday winter truffle market establishes prices for all Provence truffles.
The region is famous for wine, and Chez Serge in Carpentras has one of the best wine lists around, with excellent reasonably priced meals. The nearby village of Beaumes-de-Venise is famous for its red wines, and also the slightly sweet "vin doux" --perfect with the local "melon de Cavaillon" or foie gras. There are many excellent wineries in the Ventoux region, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape is less than 30 minutes away.

The old houses and narrow streets of the medieval village rise up to the reddish sandstone cliffs with their many caves. Life in the village centers around an open central area with squares, weathered stone fountains, shops, outdoor terrace cafés, with plenty of shade from the plane trees.

On the left of the house is the master bedroom with doors directly to the terrace and pool. Here you can also see the pool cover. It is best to cover the pool at night if you prefer warmer water.
