l'Autre Rive, Avignon - Sleeps 6

L'Autre Rive is one of our villas in Provence, near Avignon.

l'Autre Rive sits in the historical centre of Villeneuve-les-Avignon. In the 14th Century when Avignon was the headquarters of the Catholic church, many Church Cardinals wanted to escape the heat, grime and crowded conditions of Avignon, and so moved across the river to Villeneuve. Here they built magnificent palaces for themselves.

This apartment used to form part of a Cardinal's Palace in the 14th century. It is now a luxury apartment with a private terrasse. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. On the ground floor, in addition to a kitchen and living room, there is a bedroom and a shared bathroom. On the mezzanine above the living room is another bedroom. On the first floor there is an en-suite bedroom with its own shower room.
