Close GalleryThe village of Eygalières, located in the Alpilles, is a jewel of Provence but one that is easily overlooked due to the plethora of towns to visit in the area. The village is surrounded by the superb landscapes of the Alpilles, with olive groves, green valleys and vineyards. This small village is home to well- heeled vacationers, as well as French film and tv stars and other high wattage glitterati. However the town has retained its old style ambiance, which is one reason it is so attractive to visitors -
Close GalleryThis is the view of the house when you arrive. Taken from the parking area, it shows how close the property is to the famous Alpilles range of hills that dominate this area. The large olive grove is extensive and backs up into the Alpilles.
There is a jogging path at the end of the property on which you can walk to the village in 30 minutes. -
Close GalleryThe grounds around the property have been planted to great effect. The use of lavender, olive trees, cyprus and pine give a natural Provencal feel, but in an ordered, structured manner. Paths of lawn and bleached gravel make their way through the lush growth. -

Close GalleryThe kitchen is of course fully equipped and ideal for serious cooks. There's a flat screen TV with satellite reception so you can be inspired by Delia whilst cooking the bacon and eggs!
The kitchen is large and well-equipped, and includes two freezers and two dishwashers, perfect for large groups. Please note the beautiful beamed ceiling. -
Close GalleryThis room is dedicated to cinema lovers. It's located in the basement so sound insulation is good. It's also lovely and cool, so a refreshing place to get comfortable. The satellite dish has a news service which captures a wide range of 60 channels, including BBC, ITV, Sky News, CNN, etc (but not the Sky Movies and Sky Sports). -
