Close GalleryJust beyond the pool and olive trees you can see a huge lavender field. Beginning in early-to-mid June though most of August the field is awash in different shades of lavender and purple. There are about 12 acres total land on the property, which extends to the trees in the background of this photo.

Please note the antique "radassier" on the left; this is a traditional three seat sofa. The decor in the mas is classy, understated and authentic Provençal.

Close GalleryThe striking kitchen was newly built during the renovation 18 years ago and was designed as much as possible in keeping with a traditional Provençal kitchen. It is well-equipped with a Lacanthe stove and ovens, double frig, Bosch dishwasher, and all the appliances you need. The table in the foreground is near the shutters that open on to the terrace.

Close GalleryThe dining room is in the original 16th century part of the house--just this room comprised the "house," but there were stables and other farm buildings on the site. The original hearth and fireplace are still useable. The ancient vaulted ceiling makes this a spectacular room.
