Mas Gabrielle is a beautiful large mas (farmhouse) located near St-Rémy-de-Provence, and very central to some of the most famous sites in Provence. It is beautiful and unusual; it is surrounded by a wall and located in a garden of 100-year-old olive trees, palm trees, platane trees, oleander and lavender.
The Alpilles villages of St-Rémy-de-Provence, Eygalières, Les-Baux-de-Provence, Arles, and others are only 15-45 minutes away. Avignon is close by, and the famous wine region of Châteauneuf-du-Pape is close as well. The Luberon villages, including Gordes and L'Isle sur la Sorgue, are 20-30 minutes away.
The region is well known for wonderful wine, olive oil, produce, cheeses and outdoor markets.. Some of the best olive oil in Provence is produced around Les-Baux-de-Provence, and of course, there are vineyards producing excellent wines all over the region.

Mas Gabrielle is a beautiful large mas (farmhouse) with 4 bedrooms, 3 of which are en-suite, and one with a bathroom across the hall. All are on the first floor, above the living, kitchen and dining areas. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. The largest suite is located on the east side of the building and has a large bedroom with mezzanine and en-suite bathroom. A smaller suite, also with a king (180 cm) bed, has its own bathroom and balcony overlooking the grounds. The two additional bedrooms are large, both with beds that can be made into twins or a king. One has an en-suite bathroom; the other bathroom is private but not en-suite.
For 2 additional adults there is a 5th bedroom on the ground floor, with an extra charge. Children may sleep on the mezzanine sofa bed free of charge.
There is a large, private solar heated pool, 6m *12m. The summer kitchen is equipped with a luxury large Borreti BBQ, a fridge, dishwasher and sink with running hot and cold water. There are gas heaters for cooler evenings.

St-Rémy-de-Provence is perhaps the most beautiful small town in Provence. Post World War II, it was an agricultural area, specialising in flower seeds and sheep, but now is known as a sophisticated country town with some of the best local commerce Provence has to offer, and with a wonderful, central location.
There are many sites in St Rémy: the very important Roman ruins at Glanum; the rue Hoche, a tiny street where French-Jewish doctor and astronomer Nostradamus was born in 1503. Don’t forget the colourful Wednesday market which is well known all over Provence. Vincent van Gogh spent most of the last year of his life here, at the St.Paul de Maussole Clinic, and painted over 150 paintings.
