Although this photograph was taken in Autumn, it's easy to imagine, on a hot Provençal summer's day, how soothing the sound of the fountain will be, with the fragrant lavender in full bloom scenting the air. -

Situated next to the water feature in the front courtyard, you can dine in style at the very large table and chairs that seat 16 comfortably. A Focus Professional gas BBQ is ideal for outdoor entertaining, just off the dining area there is a small room with a fridge, storage space and 2 highchairs. When dinner is over there is a delightful covered terrace with outdoor sofas to recline in and while away the evening. -

Just off this room there is a corridor with a cloakroom, plus a utility room with a washer, dryer, storage space, and an extra under-counter fridge. -

As with the rest of the property, it is fully air-conditioned to allow for a complete chill-out even at the height of summer in Provence. -

It has flat-screen French satellite tv, plenty of wardrobe space with a driftwood beach theme - including an upturned boat serving as a bookcase. Views of both the front courtyard and the rear grounds and, like all the windows in the property, they are tilt-turn windows. The sash opens two ways, giving you ventilation flexibility. Either swing the window sash open into the room for a clear view and a full breeze. Or, if you want just a little fresh air, the handle tilts the sash in to vent from the top. Ideal for when the little ones are in bed. -
Close GalleryThe west wing of the property has its own gated and alarmed 3 x 5 metre swimming pool and separate hot tub. The hot tub is situated near the pool with it's own covered dining area for 10 people and outdoor carved wooden settee - the whole terrace is covered with a rustic timber roof to provide shade during the summer and allow for extended use of the hot tub during the cooler months. -

Close GalleryThe kitchen in the west wing continues the vintage vibe with a very spacious reclaimed wooden table and seating for 14 diners. The kitchen has an electric oven and induction hob, a double marble sink, LG multi function microwave, Bosch dishwasher, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. Exposed oak beams, stone walls and a huge open fireplace give the kitchen a rustic ambiance. -
Close GalleryAn open plan lounge in the west wing has French doors that leads to the front courtyard with its outdoor dining terrace and a rear door which leads to the small swimming pool and hot tub area. An LG flat-screen LG with French Canal satellite and lots of comfortable seating make for a very relaxing room. The door at the end of the lounge leads to the double bedroom with full disabled access if required. -
Close GalleryThe west wing has a games room that wouldn't look out of place on a 1960's film set, with a retro bar, black and silver table football and vintage cafe tables and chairs. A glass panel set in the stone floor lights up to provide a wonderful view of water trickling down in the old well for the house. There is a guest wc and sink just behind the bar area. A large door opens out onto the rear west wing courtyard with its pool and hot tub. -
