There is a large terrace one floor above the garden level, with access from the main living room (photo just below), the master bedroom and the third bedroom (see bedroom section). Perfect for getting together in the evening and sharing an apéritif while the sun sets.
We took the above photograph in early May, when the 6 x 4 metre pool was only half full, having not been fully prepared for the summer season. We will of course be returning to complete our outdoor photos later in the season.
The spectacular surroundings at Mas de Soleillan. This picture was taken in early May, with the pool not yet in service and the vines still barely green - we'll be sure to get more photos when we return to the Mas this summer)
Once you step inside Mas de Soleillan, you immediately realise the exceptional character of the house, which has been hand-crafted to an extremely high standard. The interiors are incredibly bright, giving off a serene atmosphere throughout the Mas. If you are familiar with Provençal interior design magazines, you just might recognise some of the rooms here...
This charming little corner, located just at the other end of the dining table you can see above, will be perfect for finishing meals with a glass of local wine or settling down to read a book in the evening.
Faithful to the house's background as an 18th-century farmhouse, there are no ensuite bathrooms at Mas de Soleillan. This delightful bathroom, located at the opposite end of the corridor from the master bedroom, has a nice corner bath with glass panels for showering.
The second bedroom along the corridor is somewhat smaller than the others, with just a 90 cm single bed. This room is perfect for a child or teen, but may also just as well remain unoccupied as the owner only accepts 8 guests at a time.
