The Mas d'Alric is a family vacation home perched near the eponymous rocky outcropping in the Dentelles de Montmirail mountains in northern Provence. The villa has 4 bedrooms, (two en-suite), a lovely traditional Provençal kitchen and dining room, a private pool, and loads to space to enjoy. The exterior grounds of the home are intentionally left rustic, to better suit the environment. The interior is more modern.
The village, La Roque l'Alric has just 70 inhabitants, so it is a very peaceful place. There is not a lot going on in the tiny village, but nearby villages have a lot to offer the holiday traveler: markets, shopping, wine tasting and other activities. One of the best places in the immediate area is the winery, Clos de Trias, owned by a Californian of Norwegian ancestry, married to a Frenchwoman. A wonderful laid-back place to visit.

This Provence villa is situated 18 km north of Carpentras via the D938, and the D78 (or the D7 and then the D90), between The Dentelles de Montmirail and Mont Ventoux. This a perfect spot to just relax, or else bike or hike or climb Mont Ventoux, or visit the local markets and historical sites.
Mas d'Alric has four bedrooms (Two Double rooms with en-suite, one double room and one Twin room with en-suite). It also has one separate bathroom and one separate toilet. You will find internet, Wi-Fi, Satellite TV, 1 Baby Cot, 1 High Chair, 4 Portable Fans, Air conditioning, Gas Barbecue and many other things included. The swimming Pool measures 4.5 x 9 m and is protected by an alarm.

The old houses and narrow streets of the medieval village rise up to the reddish sandstone cliffs with their many caves. Life in the village centers around an open central area with squares, weathered stone fountains, shops, outdoor terrace cafés, with plenty of shade from the plane trees.
