The communal areas on ground floor are laid to stone except for the lounge area which has a wooden parquet finish. The ceilings are genuine timber beams and lats. -

It is also used as a library, and there is a convertible 140 cm sofa bed which provides an additional sleeping space. The room is set slightly away from the other communal areas in the house, allowing adults the peace and quiet they so readily deserve! -
Close GalleryWhen you enter the villa from the front door you find yourself in the main living area, with the lounge to your left and the open plan kitchen to your right which is fully equipped with microwave, dish washer etc. Both the living area and the ground floor bedroom open out onto the pergola covered terrace.
For winter lets there is a two-sided fireplace which is easily capable of heating the entire villa. -

Interestingly, the timber lats used to support the ceiling in this room are walnut. The view from these elevated windows is the best in the house, spectacular! -
