Close GalleryThe quintessentially Provençal swimming pool is perfect for relaxing, and is literally feet away from the 'oliveraie'--olive grove. This exclusive holiday villa rental in Provence is the ideal combination of luxury and tradition. The pool, which is heated between mid-April and late October, measures 15 x 5m and is ideal for lazing around in the sun while soaking in the breathtaking panoramas of the Alpilles mountains.
Numerous furnished stone terraces, bamboo hedges and complete privacy make for perfect outdoor living at Mas Artémis. Eating outside is a real pleasure from March to November, and sometimes you can have lunch outside on warm days in winter. All Images are © Copyright Emotional Escapes Ltd.

Close GalleryIn the background, in a shaded area under the trees is large outdoor table, seating 14-16 people. There are smaller areas with tables and chairs dotted around the villa. With no other houses for hundreds of yards and mostly evergreen trees, the garden is a haven of peace and tranquility all year round. The property's olive grove contains over 350 organically-grown olive trees, and there are also stone pines, cypresses, almond trees and even two fish ponds with water lilies.

Close GalleryA bit of fun. The owner has created this cave-a-vin for your use. The temperature is constant, therefore an excellent place to store your purchases. It also offers a very agreeable place to taste your favourite wine in a fitting atmosphere.
Eygalières has several wineries so you will enjoy trying these wines with meals or as an aperitif. Their rosés and whites are especially good. You may even enjoy visiting a few wineries near by, or elsewhere. The famous Southern Côtes-du-Rhône vineyards of Chateauneuf are only 45 minutes away, and Gigondas, Cairannne, Vacqueryas and Beaumes-de-Venise just a little farther.
The up-and-coming Ventoux appellation, centered on the Mont Ventoux of Tour de France fame, has a lot of vineyards; try Domaine Chaumard in Caromb, or the Domaine du Bon Remède and Domaine de Fondrechè, both in Mazan. The Mont Ventoux area is really the "countryside" with small wineries dotted around, and charming little bistros where you can have a relaxing lunch in the shadow of the "Giant of Provence."All Images are © Copyright Emotional Escapes Ltd.
