The terrace and pool area are great spots to hang out and everything is kept in very good order by the agents, who are very helpful and can't do enough to make our stay a pleasant one. The location is quiet, secure and you feel truly immersed in the local area and village.

The group of mathematicians and their significant others that spent the first two weeks of July at Mas Artemis had a lovely time. The setting in an olive orchard was delightful this time of year. The swimming pool was beautiful and often used. The kitchen and dining room in the main structure were very well appointed with serving dishes, plates and various, plentiful glassware. The two dishwashers were very useful for keeping the cutlery and dishes in order. The two refrigerators were also well used for cooling wine and beer and keeping the cheese and leftovers from the catered meals. The sleeping rooms with ensuite bathrooms were comfortably air-conditioned as was the living room. The outdoor dining table with the expandable cover was splendid and conveniently close to the kitchen facilities.

The laundry facilities were adequate and well-used and the group enjoyed hanging up clothes on the outdoor clothes lines because they made the clothes smell so good.

Julie, the concierge for our stay, was excellent in providing us with two chef’s whose meals were outstanding and very much appreciated.

Michelle, the person who opened and closed the house for us, was very helpful when we locked ourselves out of the main house. She gave careful instructions of how to use the various features of the villa and was very personable.

Many of the guests especially enjoyed the large pool house with its comfortable chairs and sofas and fabulous view. We had a wonderful time.
Into the bargain, we produced a draft of a document that will be very valuable for the mathematics teaching enterprise throughout the world as it continues to integrate mathematical software into the teaching and learning of mathematics.. Close

The cleaning lady would bring... Read more breakfast and provide great advice on things to visit. The house was well equipped and the views are spectacular. The process to rent, our local contact and the accuracy of the information about the property were flawless. The house does not have air conditioning so you have to manage the air flows when it is very hot.
Overall we really loved the place.
